What types of windows do I need
to have?
The Hurricane Panel Lock requires a recessed window frame
of a least 1 1/2" but we suggest 2".
Will Hurricane Panel Locks damage
my home?
NO. For a typical window you will need to install 4 small
screws. After the screws are installed, they can be painted
to match your window frame.
How many Hurricane Panel Locks
do I need?
Calculate 2 LOCKS per windows and 3 LOCKS per sliding glass
door or tall windows (6' and above). If your sliding glass
door or window is 8 feet or wider you will need to purchase
1 more Hurricane Panel Lock to install vertically for added
protection.
